Creating a Vision Board for Your Business

Creating a vision board for your business is a visually compelling way to map out any aspirations or goals. Gather images and quotes that resonate with the future you envision for your business. This could relate to achieving specific milestones such as revenue or expansion, or it could relate to company culture for example. This helps to align with business strategy and planning processes, to truly understand your business goals or needs for the year ahead.

Once created, display your vision board in a prominent place in your workspace (such as in front of your desk!) as a reminder of your commitment to the journey ahead. Your vision board then becomes a source of inspiration, and a reminder of what you are working towards.

Vision boards can be created physically, using printed images or magazine cut outs to fill a board, or they can be created digitally using software such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop. If creating a digital vision board, this can either be printed, or used as a desktop background! If printed, this can be placed in several areas to ensure visibility across the office or workspace. If digital, you’ll be able to see it every time you look at your screen.

There is no right or wrong way to create a vision board for your business – the most important thing is that it is relevant to your business needs and goals.
