Using an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP)

Energy usage is important to think about when running a business, no matter how big or small your premises is.

An ASPH is slightly larger than an air-conditioning refrigeration unit, and will be located outside of the building, connected to an inside unit through the wall.

This heat pump provides hot air or hot water and uses much less energy than a traditional boiler. This hot air can be used to heat building spaces, producing 2-3 units of heat for every unit of power, compared to a standard immersion heater’s one unit of heat per unit of electricity. It means your business can be cost-effective whilst still being energy conscious.
