Understanding Media Kits

For those wishing to embark in traditional advertising, acquiring the relevant information needed to analyse or book advertising space can sometimes be confusing.

Enter the ‘Media Kit’.

This document (and most often a downloadable PDF) helps visitors to a particular publication understand who that publication is, their readership, the opportunities for advertising and their pricing grid. It will usually contain the location of their demographic, how many copies they publish, the artwork specifications for each advert and other useful information.

Media Kits can be acquired by visiting the website of the publication, or making contact with a representative of that publication via the contact details on that website.
