Strategies for Festive Marketing on a Budget

The festive season is a great time for businesses of all sizes to connect with their audience. At this time of year, consumers are browsing and spending more in shops due to the holiday. This is something that can be leveraged through social media campaigns and community events. Here’s how!

Social Media

As the festive season nears, start to build anticipation through countdown campaigns. This could be counting down to product launches, events or special discounts for example. This content can be bolstered through the use of user-generated content (UGC). Encourage your customers to share their experiences with your products or services to reach a further audience.

Similarly, working specifically with content creators throughout the festive period on specific campaigns can help to gather more visibility and traction for your business. As mentioned above, people are generally buying more items at this time of year, and will be more receptive to reviews/information from those they already trust.

Events

Are your products suitable for selling in pop-up shops? There are several Christmas market events that happen throughout December, giving you the chancge to show your company’s products off in person.

Do you offer a specific service? Why not host a workshop? And if possible, make it festive! These are perfect for Christmas events, whether that’s for individuals or for work teams.

You don’t have to have a large budget to create an effective festive marketing strategy. Leverage the power of social media, and get involved with community events during this month to help with visibility.
