PIR (passive infrared) motion sensors are popular devices that are used to detect any motion. They are used in a number of different applications, and are ideal for security, automation and energy-saving.

PIR sensors are widely used to help businesses with energy efficiency. By detecting any motion, they can automatically turn lights on when someone enters the room, and turn them off when the area is vacant. This reduces unnecessary energy consumption, and doesn’t rely on people remembering to switch lights off!

They also provide enhanced security, and can trigger alarms, activate cameras or turn on lights to deter intruders to ensure your premises is secure when empty.
