How to Create a Design Brief

A design brief is created to outline the main details and expectations of a design project. The brief should align the teams’ expectations and cover key details such as:

  • Project overview
  • Timeline and budget
  • Target audience
  • Key messaging
  • Deliverables required
  • Review and sign off process

It should provide a plan of how the project will be executed, giving easy insight into anyone on the project team.
