Unlocking AI’s Potential: Insights from the Final Business Tapas Workshop

The Business Tapas Mini-Series concluded on 25th February with an eye-opening session, “Demystifying AI,” led by AI strategist and specialist Pat Szubryt. This final workshop delved into the transformative role of artificial intelligence in business, offering attendees a roadmap for AI integration, real-world applications, and ethical considerations.

Pat provided invaluable insights into how businesses—regardless of size or sector—can embrace AI to enhance operations, improve decision-making, and create innovative customer experiences. The session fostered an engaging dialogue, allowing participants to ask questions, share perspectives, and explore how AI could shape the future of their industries.

Reflecting on the session and the broader Business Tapas initiative, Pat said:

“Business Tapas provides a long sought-after gap in knowledge transfer between industry experts, academia, the public and private sectors, and businesses of all sizes. It offers an opportunity to democratise knowledge, share best practices, and engage in meaningful dialogue. As an AI strategist, I found it crucial to establish a forum where approaches and insights can thrive. Thanks to Business Tapas, participants gain valuable understanding in manageable sessions, with opportunities to ask questions and seek advice. The inclusive and supportive atmosphere created by Charlie, Daniel, and Katie ensured that all attendees felt welcomed, encouraged, and empowered to learn. Strongly recommend!”

Becoming Oversubscribed: How to Sell Out Your Event or Product

The key to selling out an event or product lies in becoming 'oversubscribed'—creating more demand than supply. Daniel Priestly’s strategy focuses on building anticipation, engaging your audience, and nurturing demand through multiple touchpoints before opening sales.

By implementing a pre-launch registration process, establishing a waiting list, and maintaining consistent engagement, businesses can turn interested prospects into committed buyers. Creating urgency with limited availability, early-bird offers, and social proof helps drive conversions before launching to the public.

Once sold out, following up with customers and gathering feedback ensures continued engagement for future launches.
